While on our relocation travel from California to Florida, we made the mistake to visit Houston, Texas, to have a quick late lunch. In the process, only an hour stop, Houston thieves broke our driver side window and jacked us for everything we owned. I lost 200 movie taglines stored inside an Apple laptop.
Thieves don't give a crap about anyone but their lowlife habit of taking what does not belong to them. They don't care whether a person is moving to seek change. Thieves will take a coat you plan to wear to a job interview. These lowlife Houston thieves scored a major jackpot robbing us while we dined inside a mediocre Italian restaurant who decided that there is no need for security during the hours between 2-5pm.
Unluckily, we dined at between 3:45-4:52pm. We wrote some of the best movie taglines. Horror movie taglines, comedy movie taglines, zombie movie taglines, and many other great movie taglines reside in the computer. Even worse, the Houston thieves now have possession of a valuable quote book that took me three years to write.
Never stop in Houston. The Houston police department are unprofessional. At first, the police officer treated me like a criminal. Avoid this disaster city. Houston is a dump. Thus, Houston's original Carrabba's Italian Grill cost me 200 movie taglines, thousands of original quotes, $10,000+ in personal belongings, thousands of past articles, reports, resumes, Passport, and much more.
I recommend you stay clear of Houston. Visit Houston at your own risk. If you get robbed, don't expect the police and a restaurant to help you. They won't review film with the robbers stealing away your hard work and possessions. Even worse, poor security increased the risk. Good thing a writer got robbed. We can inform the world that everyone responsible for this robbery is trying to sweep the incident under the rug.
As a result of unsympathetic people in Houston, we will warn travelers to avoid your city. We avoided this city in 2005, but then gave it a chance in 2012. Never again! Our quest to seek change ended up becoming another major setback. You attend college to earn several degrees, serve your country in the military, and work hard to help people advance. Then, a low-class city such as Houston steals your dreams.
200 movie taglines reside in the Apple laptop computer. A black quote book contains many original quotes. Karma will make its rounds to repay those who refuse to take accountability. As long as I worked in restaurants while attending college as well as dining in them many years, I never witnessed or heard of another customer have their window broken out in broad daylight and get jacked for everything they own.
Carrabba's refused to even pay for the $240 window. They kept referring to this first-time robbery as an America crime rate statistic. We heard them tell that this area is safe, exclusive, that we don't have security on between 2-5pm daily, we have the robbers on camera, Carrabba's spends thousands per week on the security, and other excuses. We never received a call to make sure we made it home safe, especially with driving home through 5 states in rain and fog
How do robbers walk up to a car, break the window out in broad daylight, and take their time to steal everything you possibly own? One suitcase weighed at least 40 pounds, and another bag was just as heavy. Two suitcases, leather bag, another bag, and a Liz Clairborne are in their hands.
No personal belongings were out in plain sight to increase the risk. The trunk was also full of suits, clothes, and a flat screen television. However, the robbers took the most valuable possessions. We lost valuable memories from New York, Mount Rushmore, Denver, Roswell, San Antonio and many memorable trips, holidays, and birthdays. Important tax documents were lost, furthermore, delaying my ability to complete taxes.
It would be interesting to watch the video feed of these lowlife criminals robbing us blind while Carrabba's top-notch security team are resting on their 3-hour break. What good does high-end video surveillance do if the restaurant delay the viewing?
The general manager apologized, saying they are not responsible, that it can happen anywhere in America, and that this is the first time anyone got robbed in their new parking structure. Is he sorry that valuable intellectually property now gone? What a load of crap to show no compassion for outside travelers visiting an overpriced restaurant who want to make a profit with their parking lot and thus increase the risk for their customers to get robbed.
This is not the last time a robbery will occur at the original Carrabba's Italian Grill in Houston, Texas. Houston Police Department never called to follow-up. While living in San Jose several years ago, the Santa Clara Police Department apprehended an identity thief that took my wallet and tried to create havoc with his fraudulent actions. It only took a few weeks to find this criminal.
The difference is that Santa Clara Police Department performed their job. They interviewed several people, viewed footage at stores, and displayed professionalism. Houston Police Department will make reference to the fact that any small child can break into a car. Another employee will fight with you, stating that there is nothing in the computer and you are making an error with the case number and with the reporting of the robbery. Don't expect the Houston Police Department to protect you.

My movie taglines that I planned to submit as samples to marketing agencies in Los Angeles are now gone. Thanks a lot Houston. Your city sucks!
My movie taglines for Houston:
- Think fast, move quick from the slums
- Houston, we have no class
- Italian food with a mob twist
- This is no ordinary city - it is a low-class dump
- Ride fast like a Rocket to avoid Houston
